Peak-to-valley electricity price spreads are widening across manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, and data centers. Operating costs continue to rise.
CSG answers with a modular energy storage platform tailored for C&I use. The solutions address rising electricity costs and grid instability through peak shaving, load shifting, and demand management—enabling businesses to reduce energy expenses while enhancing supply reliability.
How It Works
The systems store energy during off-peak hours when electricity prices are low and discharge during peak periods when rates are high. This approach lowers utility bills and reduces strain on the grid during periods of high demand. CSG's modular architecture spans from sub-MWh units for small workshops to multi-MWh installations for large industrial parks, offering flexibility that traditional centralized storage systems cannot match.
Two Platform Tiers
System Class | Grid Interconnection | Power Range | Applications |
Large-Scale C&I | 10–35 kV AC | 500 kW: 100 MW | Peak shaving, load smoothing, distribution capacity expansion, emergency backup, frequency regulation, renewable power quality improvement |
Small-Scale C&I | 400 V AC | 100 kW: 1 MW | Peak shaving, demand charge management, capacity expansion, emergency supply, energy time-shifting, microgrid coordination |

Project Highlight
Sinopec Integrated Energy Station
CSG collaborated with Sinopec to develop China's largest integrated refueling and recharging complex, combining gasoline, EV fast-charging, battery-swapping, rooftop photovoltaics, and grid-scale storage. Multiple 215 kWh liquid-cooled cabinets provide capacity augmentation, while the EMS orchestrates PV generation and battery dispatch with continuous battery health monitoring. Since commissioning, the station has significantly reduced electricity costs. During grid outages, the system seamlessly substitutes for conventional UPS units to maintain critical loads.

A Strategic Enabler
CSG's C&I energy storage solutions address the dual pressures of rising energy costs and supply instability while supporting grid peak-load alleviation and renewable integration. As distributed energy resources continue to proliferate, these modular, intelligent storage systems are emerging as essential components of a more resilient and sustainable grid—delivering immediate economic returns to businesses and long-term value to the broader energy ecosystem.
